Senior Product Designer

Full-time

Location: Remote

Alpha is experiencing extraordinary growth as we pursue our 2033 vision, to see 100 million people have the opportunity to hear the Gospel through Alpha. Our digital platforms are central to this mission, equipping churches and National Alpha Offices worldwide to reach Churches and Guests with simplicity, hospitality, and authenticity.

To support this, Alpha has established a new User Experience (UX) function to place people at the heart of how we design. The UX function leads how people experience Alpha, the brand, its culture, and its values, across all digital touchpoints, ensuring a unified Alpha experience both on and offline.

What you’d be doing in this role

The Senior Product Designer plays a key role in bringing Alpha’s mission and culture to life through design. This is a hands-on, craft-focused role that combines design excellence with strategic influence. You will work end-to-end, from research and discovery through to UX, UI, and delivery, partnering closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to uncover user needs, form hypotheses, and design solutions that not only meet business outcomes but also bring delight to the users.

You will lead the development and maintenance of our design systems and UI libraries (in collaboration with the front-end team), ensuring design consistency and efficiency across all Alpha digital platforms. You will also champion a human-centred mindset within cross-functional teams, helping product and engineering colleagues make data-informed, user-led decisions that reflect Alpha’s heart and values.

To thrive in this role, you will need both design mastery and emotional intelligence. You are someone who listens deeply, asks thoughtful questions, and collaborates with empathy. You bring clarity in ambiguity, approach challenges with curiosity and humility, and see feedback as fuel for growth. • Foster empathy & clarity in cross-functional collaboration, encouraging a human-centred mindset across teams
  • Embody Alpha’s values, warm, open, curious, & collaborative, in every aspect of work & relationship
