We partner with churches to launch initiatives around prayer, outreach, preparing the next generation of leaders, and so much more! We are looking for someone who has a passion for innovation, creativity, and a deep love of the entirety of the church body across Canada to come alongside our team. They will display joy, integrity, and encouragement to both their team and external stakeholders.
Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated individuals to join Alpha Canada as interns, working with various teams performing roles in the following areas:
- Engage with team objectives and contribute to shared goals
- Gain insights through mentorship from various team members
- Receive training to facilitate an Alpha session within your specific context
- Learn and lead in Alpha Canada prayer initiatives and rhythms
- Maintain strong, relational communication with the entire team
- Develop and implement your own personal development plan
- Work together with your local church to aid in running Alpha and getting hands on experience to what we are all about.
- Depending the the intern’s background and skill set:
- Support our Marketing and Communications team with content creation, capturing stories and graphic design.
- Engage youth and support them in running Alpha at their schools
- Work with various teams on data analysis and CRM (Salesforce) management
- Pray and connect with Alpha Canada partners
- Provide operational support in areas like IT, HR and Accounting
Requirements:
The Ideal candidate for this position is someone who is a recent post-secondary graduate or someone currently pursuing or planning to pursue a post-secondary degree, and who is eager to discover where God is calling them. They should have a strong curiosity to learn, perseverance to tackle various tasks, and a desire to discover and develop their strengths. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organization and attention to detail, and an aptitude to take on challenges are essential. Most importantly we are looking for candidates who share the values of Alpha Canada, including the passion for sharing Jesus and love for the local church.
Compensation
$22/hour, plus pay in lieu of vacation.
