Description
Alpha Ministries Canada, a national Christian non-profit organization with an office in New Westminster,
BC, seeks an enthusiastic and diligent self-starter who is looking to gain experience in a Christian
non-profit ministry. Whether you have a background in business, like working in tech, honing your skills as
a creative, or love doing ministry work, come and see how Jesus can use you. We will encourage you

We are entering an exciting time here at Alpha Canada where we are getting ready to launch
initiatives around the next generation with prayer and new products for youth that the whole church
can accelerate. This role will come alongside our team and join us in following the Holy Spirit’s leading
towards exciting opportunities. We are looking for someone who has a passion for innovation, creativity,
and a deep love for the whole church in Canada. They will display joy, positive energy and
encouragement to both the team and external stakeholders.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role is a new or recent post-secondary graduate or someone currently
pursuing a post-secondary degree, who is eager to discover where God is calling them. We seek
individuals with a strong curiosity to learn, a willingness to tackle various tasks, and a desire to uncover
and develop their strengths. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational
abilities, and attention to detail are essential. Most importantly, we are looking for candidates who share
our values for sharing Jesus and have a passion for the local church.

- Participate in the Vision and Call Retreat (Oct 3-5 in Washington, USA)
- Learn and contribute to the team objectives and goals
- Receive mentorship from various team members
- Be trained and Run an Alpha in your context
- Learn and lead in Alpha Canada prayer initiatives and rhythms
- Be highly relational and communicative with your team
- Develop and implement your own personal development plan
- Depending the the intern’s background and skill set:
o Support our Marketing and Communications team with content creation, capturing
stories and graphic design.
o Engage youth and support them in running Alpha at their schools
o Work with various teams on data analysis and CRM (Salesforce) management
o Pray and connect with Alpha Canada partners
o Provide operational support in areas like IT, HR and Accounting
Compensation
$22/hour, plus pay in lieu of vacation.
