Right now, there’s an incredible opportunity unfolding across Canadian high schools.
Despite the fact that 42% of Canadian teens claim to be agnostic, they are remarkably open to faith. Young people are searching for authentic connections and meaningful answers—exactly what the Alpha Youth Series provides.
The harvest is plentiful—but the workers are few, and they need to be trained before being sent out.
Take Andre, a 15-year-old in Fredericton, NB. He’s just one emerging leader who is burning to share the Gospel with his peers. “There’s many people like me that are on fire for God,” he reflects. “But they still have many questions and struggles.”
And so, he dreams big for his fellow leaders and his peers across Canada: “I dream of a future where all schools have an Alpha group.”

Through programs like the Student Leadership Collective (SLC), students will receive discipleship, mentorship, and practical training to lead Alpha in their schools. They’ll discover their calling in Christ, learn to create welcoming spaces for big questions, and are equipped to make a real difference as Jesus’ light.
We want to quadruple the size of the 2026 SLC cohort from 78 students from 43 high schools to 300 students from over 100 high schools. It won’t just be the 300 students that are impacted though. Their friends, family, and communities will all feel the effect!
But to do that, we need to secure funding now so we can start preparing for them.
