Alpha Ministries Canada, a national Christian non-profit organization, seeks an enthusiastic and diligent self-starter for our IT Internship. Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Operations team. In this role, you will provide technical support to various departments, maintain IT systems, and assist in data processing. Key responsibilities include:
- Hardware & System Maintenance: Setting up and wiping computers to ensure hardware readiness for staff.
- Web Development: Utilizing coding knowledge to assist with various frontend projects.
- Security & Administration: Supporting staff through Google Workspace and implementing internal processes to increase organizational work security.
- Data Analysis: Working within Salesforce to process data, analyze trends, and create comprehensive reports.
- Platform Support: Supporting staff and customers on the MyAlpha platform by troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
- Infrastructure Support: Assisting in maintaining and updating IT systems and networks while providing general technical support.
Requirements:
- Education: Currently working towards or recently completed a post-secondary degree, preferably in IT, Computer Science, or Business.
- Attitude: A “can-do” attitude, a proactive nature, and a willingness to “figure it out”.
- Skills: Experience with React, Google Workspace, and Salesforce is considered a strong asset.
