When many newcomers arrive in Canada, they’re often alone, disoriented, and looking for a place to belong. They want to feel at home in their new community.

In 2022 alone, over one million newcomers came to Canada.

This is a tremendous opportunity for the church in Canada to provide a place of welcome, love and hospitality around the person of Jesus.

Alpha is a place where newcomers are safe to be who they are. Where they can eat good, comforting food. Where they receive welcome from new friends who are genuinely interested in their stories. Where they can ask questions about Canada and about Jesus.
