About Alpha Collective

Alpha Collective is an invite-only global gathering that provides a unique opportunity for pastors from strategic churches to connect and engage in discussion with leaders from around the world representing a diverse range of denominations and cultural expressions.

In a relational, conversational format, we will engage with the global Alpha team, HTB staff, and key leaders from around the world to explore the challenges and opportunities of church engagement, evangelism, navigating our cultural realities, and Christian unity; and highlight what God is doing around the world to reach every person.

We anticipate great times of discovery, new friendships, and encountering God together. We hope you can join us!

*St. Elizabeth of Portugal is in Richmond, South London. St Elizabeth’s is an Alpha Hub Church led by Fr Stephen Langridge. They will share their experience of pastoral renewal and how they have developed a culture of invitation, welcome and hospitality moving their parish from maintenance to mission using Alpha.

Thursday 14 November | Trip to Oxford*

7:45AM | Travel to Oxford

10:00 AM – 12:30 PM | St Aldate’s, Oxford

We will visit St. Aldates Church in the heart of Oxford and engage in conversation with Rector, Stephen Foster – formerly preaching pastor at HTB Church and National Director of Alpha UK, and other key leaders.

The afternoon will be open for you to explore Oxford on your own.

*Expenses for and travel arrangements to Oxford will need to be arranged by individual travelling. You can travel by train from Paddington Station to Oxford. Return trip by train to Oxford is approximately $150 CAD.

Many leaders find the trip to Oxford one of the main highlights of their trip and quite impactful.

Optional – Extend your stay in London for the Renaissance Conference at SAINT Church

On 15-16 November, the Renaissance conference is being run at SAINT church in Hackney. Renaissance is a school of creativity with a vision to help people encounter their creator, equip creatives and empower the local church to become a cathedral of creativity. We thought we would highlight this as an option to attend after Alpha Collective.

I’m honoured in my role as the Director of Strategic Partnerships to be able to work closely with some of the brightest and most influential Church leaders across Canada. I also have the privilege of aiding in the leadership development of Alpha International staff and sit on the Executive Team at Alpha Canada.

I grew up and live in a farming community in SW Ontario just outside of the GTA with my two boys William and Benjamin and my golden retriever Bo. My family attends Celebration Church in Brantford Ontario. I love hosting leaders and look forward to all that God will do through this trip and ones to come!
