Alpha Ministries Canada is a national Christian non-profit organization with creative and highly motivated people that work together to serve the Church in Canada. Alpha has an exciting opportunity for an individual to represent Alpha Canada by being at the forefront of inviting and encouraging the Church to fulfill its mission of evangelization through Alpha.
The Senior Advisor role will have a deep love for the whole church and a missionary heart to see more people in relationship with Jesus, particularly for the Catholic Church. The role will work in conjunction across teams to foster and grow the number of Alphas run across the country. This role will engage churches at an Archdiocese level to priest and senior pastors, as well as explore opportunities through church networks, and engagement with other Christian traditions as priorities present or opportunities to do so. This role will connect these relationships to Alpha Canada staff to maximize the potential of Alpha in their communities and local contexts with the hope to bring more people and parishes to Christ.
We are interested in a candidate who has had experience as a leader. They would have experience as a church leader or in Catholic church ministries. They will also be a self-starter who is enterprising, can be informed by data and driven by a love for connecting with new people and creating engagement. They love to reach for goals and accomplish them. In addition, they will get to be highly persuasive, action-oriented and should demonstrate a track record of achieving strategic goals and targets. Recent and personal Alpha experience is important to your effectiveness.
Fluency in French would be an asset but not essential for this role.

Compensation:
Salary is 60k-75k annually, and commensurate with experience. We also have an extended medical and dental benefits package. As a Senior Advisor you receive the opportunity to be a minister of Alpha Canada.
